START AND END OF THE CONGRESS
The congress will take place from WEDNESDAY 21ST TO SATURDAY 24TH OF OCTOBER 2009 in Copenhagen. The OPENING CEREMONY will be held at the Copenhagen City HALL AT 18.30 ON THE 21ST OF OCTOBER 2009. All participants will need their opening ceremony invitation, which is included in their MOVE2009 welcome bag available at the congress check-in desk in DGI-Byen. The City Hall is 10 minutes walk from the congress check-in desk.

Participants are urged to make sure that their travel arrangements will make it possible for them to arrive in good time for the opening ceremony.
The OFFICIAL CLOSING of the MOVE2009 World Congress will take place in the evening of SATURDAY 24TH OF OCTOBER 2009 after the MOVE2009 study tours and the ISCA General Assembly.
VENUE
The MOVE2009 World Congress will be hosted in the newly built conference centre of Northern Europe’s most innovative sports meeting facility DGI-Byen, providing tremendously inspirational settings for the congress. The congress venue is located in very short distance to the DGI-Byen hotels.

The MOVE2009 congress proceedings and congress documentation will be available in English only. Presentations and discussions will equally be handled in ENGLISH ONLY.

The congress fee for the four day congress includes: admission to all presentations, congress materials, congress program, welcome reception, lunches, coffee breaks and the closing dinner on Saturday night. The congress fee does not include travel and accommodation.
Payment of The MOVE2009 congress should be made well in advance of arriving in Copenhagen to ensure proper registration and admission to the congress venue.
Participants that require an official receipt of payment may request one from the MOVE2009 secretariat.

LOCAL TRAVEL
GETTING FROM THE AIRPORT TO YOUR HOTEL
You can use a train or taxi going straight from Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup lufthavn) to the central station. This trip takes about 15 minutes and cost 31,50.- DKK (Danish Kroner) with a DSB train and about 200.-DKK (Danish Kroner) with a taxi. The congress venue is situated just next to the Central station. Please, take the south exit of the central station and walk 3 minutes towards an outdoor climbing wall located at the entrance of the MOVE2009 Congress venue.

MEALS
BREAKFAST: As breakfast should be served at your respective hotel, please make sure to book breakfast with your hotel reservation.
LUNCH: During the MOVE2009 congress lunch and coffee breaks will be provided by the congress organizers.
DINNER: Congress participants should organize dinner themselves for Thursday and Friday night. There are several restaurants in the city centre. The MOVE2009 congress encourages participants to use the dinners for informal networking with other participants and speakers.
OPENING CEREMONY: Standing Buffet Dinner will be provided by the City Hall at the opening ceremony on Wednesday evening.
CLOSING DINNER: The conference organizers offer a closing dinner on Saturday evening. Participants will receive a sign-up form for the closing dinner in their welcome bag, to be filled in and delivered at the conference desk no later than Friday 23rd October at 10.00 a.m.
