Become a congress contributor It is our pleasure to invite you to submit presentations for MOVE2009 - World Congress on Active Cities: Sport, Health & Citizenship. This is your chance to become an active contributor and assist developing the MOVE2009 into a valuable and diverse event.

Deadline for submission of presentations is the August 15, 2009.

We welcome a wide range of suggestions from best practise examples to research-based presentations, and encourage all interested persons to submit a proposal or inquire for further details. Presentations are requested to be English and can be in one of the following formats:

Oral Presentation

Your presentation should have a maximum duration of 20 minutes, followed by debate. You can use Power Point or similar utilities for your presentation. Conference proceedings will include the paper and/or Power point presentation.

Poster Presentation

Poster Presentations are a great opportunity to present papers while meeting with interested attendees for in-depth discussions. Conference proceedings will include the abstract or background paper. Recommended poster size is up to 90 cm wide and 100 cm high.

Video Presentation

Video Presentations provide an excellent opportunity to give participants a clear picture of the selected topic. Video presentations will be screened in a special session, and are expected to be introduced by a short statement.

Submission

To submit your suggestion for a presentation, please include:

  • Title of the paper
  • Name of speaker, institution, city and country
  • Format of the presentation (oral, poster or video)
  • Abstract of maximum 500 words, summarizing the presentation

If there is a need for quick evaluation (e.g. to apply other institutions for financial support), please note this when submitting the proposal. The evaluation Programme Committee will reply on September 05, 2009 to your application.

The participation in the MOVE2009 World Congress is open to all stakeholders linked to the promotion of Active Cities, Sport, Health and Citizenship. Individuals or institutions that want to play an active part in the congress will be able to do so by presenting papers, board expositions, posters or video presentations.
